Find a new distraction

Finding a new activity can have many benefits, including taking your mind off cravings or urges.

An activity can also:

  • lift your mood and relax you
  • help you develop new friendships
  • give you something to look forward to

Don't be put off as many won't be for you. It doesn’t really matter what you do, just do something different! Waiting until you “feel like it” will mean you're less likely doing it and go back to old habits.
